Zinklesmesh gave me back the taste of it (modeling cars), with his Citroën GS 1015 good basis. So, I'll try first to release my really own car, which is a Citroën GS 1220 Pallas '79. So far, zinklesmesh allowed me to do this new release.
I've done some little modifications on the zinklesmesh initial mesh :
- the bonnet, needed some adjustments in the front lights part),
- the front lights shape,
- the roof, it was too much rounded,
- I've deleted one unnecessary mirror,
- the black parts (dunno the name) on the rear bumper were too much centered,
- I've added an exhaust pipe,
- I've done some little changes in the interior.
This work has been done in my modeler (Lightwave3D), so if I get how to export this mesh into a Racer dof file, I'll be glad to post also a new release of zinklesmesh previous version... since I do some minor changes also on the interior map, because the doors panels aren't from 1971 but from 1972 models (the easiest way would be to change the production year of zinklesmesh release ).
In order to reproduce my own Citroën GS, I had to do some modifications of the back part, like rear lights or chromed bar. The interior too needed some little modifications, like the gauges part of the dash and the special blue "Pallas" jersey fabric…

Many inaccurate things have already been modified for the beta version. This new version will soon be available on this pages, as soon as I get some interior textures and some free time!
